frequently asked questions
What is relational therapy?
Relational therapy starts with the premise that relationships are powerful- both for where we come from, and how we are able to move forward. Together, therapist and client build a relationship that hopes to expand the client’s experience of what is possible.
What will our sessions be like?
Each session begins wherever you need. Our work together may follow particular themes for multiple sessions, and sometimes we will explore something completely different. I welcome anything you bring, and we can figure out what works together.
Virtual sessions take place through my practice platform- you will need a quiet, private space with a strong internet connection.
What type of client do you work with?
I welcome individuals and couples aged 18+ across Ontario. My areas of focus include supporting those navigating grief and loss, queer and trans identities and families, and journeys of parenthood and perinatal mental health.
I welcome anyone who feels drawn to working with me to book a consultation phone call.
How much do sessions cost?
My full fee is $155 for individuals (50 minutes) and $200 for couples sessions (80 minutes), paid by E-Transfer or credit card.
I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spaces for those experiencing financial barriers.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24-hours notice to cancel a session with no fee. Appointments that are missed or cancelled within less than a day will be charged the full rate.
Will insurance cover my sessions with you?
If your benefits plan covers therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist, you will be able to claim my services under my registration license.
